Internet Scams

There are certain things that you must look out for when buying online to avoid being a victim of internet scams:

* Hidden Addresses: Beware of traders who try to sell goods using an anonymous email addresses or post office box numbers, which would make it hard for you find their actual location.

* Capital Letters shouting at you: Even the look and wording of advertisements can make you suspicious. Be wary of those that shout at you like "THE BEST DIAMONDS ON THE INTERNET."

* Vague references: Beware of places that claim their own success and the satisfaction of their customers without giving you a way to check these claims out.

* "This is not a scam": Don't fall for this trick - a legitimate business doesn't need to convince you of its legality.

* Promises that sound too good to be true: If it sounds that way, it usually is.

* Hidden expenses: Be wary of advertisements that promise no extra fees.
